OK SO. Time for a little contest. I really hadn’t been planning on one, but considering that people a few people seemed to be taking an interest in the half-creatures, and that DC now has over 50 fans (THANK YOOOUUUUU!!! =D) So anyway, here’s the details.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO: Draw you or your character as a half-creature OR make up a totally new half-creature character. I’ve already given you more information than anyone could possibly ever need on half-creatures, so I don’t think you should have a problem. Of course, I’m not expecting anyone to follow every single rule in the mass amount of info I gave, that’d be ridiculous XP
RULES:
1.) Only one prize per person. You can enter more than once if you like, but you can only win once.
2.) Half-creatures can be any REAL animal. No mythical creatures, like half-unicorns, griffins, whatever.
3.) You only have to draw the half-animal form, but drawing the full animal form too is definitely brownie points XD
4.) …Nevermind, I can’t think of anything else.
WHAT I’M JUDGING ON:
1.) Creativity. I know there’s quite a few guidelines for the half-creatures, but there’s plenty of room for coming up with interesting character designs. You know, outfits, hair styles, markings, poses etc. Use your imagination =D
2.) Effort. Keeping to at least most of the guidelines, adding color, coming up with a little personality and whatnot for your character, everything’s considered. Again, use your imagination XD
PRIZES: Sorry I can’t offer anything beyond art prizes. I’m broke :P
Plus: I might do a sketch request for everyone that doesn’t win anything. Depends on the number of entries.
Note: When I say “whatever you want”, I mean anything within reason. No real mature content stuff please, and honestly I fail completely at couple drawings of any sort XP. Take a look around my DA gallery to get an idea of what I’m best at, if you want.
ALRIGHT THEN! I’m not really sure this whole thing is a good idea, but I guess we’ll see how it turns out. I’m just trying to involve my readers a bit =). I’m not gonna set a deadline yet, but for now I’ll say sometime in late March or early April. Like I said, that’s not definite, just a rough estimate.
So, pencils ready, and…DRAW!

2.) I probably won't really reply to the entry PMs. Don't want to give my opinions on entries away XD. You know, just to be fair.
3.) It wouldn't be a bad idea to post a comment here if you sent me an entry, just to make sure I got it. Just a suggestion there.
4.) I would also appreciate a comment if you're thinking about/planning on entering, if only so I have some of whether or not I'm gonna get enough entries to keep this going. Again, you don't have to, it's just helpful ^_^
